Lance Brown is a native of Selma, Alabama, and a lifetime sports fan. He now lives and works in Montgomery, writing and performing music in his spare time.

Lance credits his passion for sports to his late father, Doug, and his love for music to his brother, Greg.

He credits two sources for helping bring ‘Saturday in Dixie’ to completion: his childhood friend and fellow football nut, Austin Bender, and his wife, Sandi. Without them, you would never have heard the song.

For the completion of ‘Saturday in Dixie,’ Lance credits Justin Turberville, who performed drums, bass, and lead guitar on the track, as well as Andy Jackson, who produced the session at Jackelope Studios in Montgomery. For the website and CD creative, Jennifer Wiggins gets the praise.
